Our only real complaint with the Instinct VS is that they don’t have much in the way of toe protection, so if you’re planning on doing any bouldering in them, be prepared to take a few toe jams. Overall, though, they’re an excellent shoe for climbers with wide feet and we think they’re well worth the price.

The synthetic leather upper stretches very little, so despite its comfort, this isn’t the shoe you want if you have trulywide feet.
